About Computerspot:
My name is Edy and I am passionate about computers. This site is dedicated to sharing my knowledge of computers; and, as technology evolves, sharing all the new discoveries I make along the way. Some of the topics include: choosing the right computer (or laptop) for your needs, tips on using and choosing software programs, reviews on the different hardware and software programs out there, computer networking, and how to use the internet to your best advantage. I will also share the latest computer news as it comes available.

A Little about Edy:
My passion for computers started in high school. My first computer was a 486 and then in college I bought a Pentium 3. My most recent purchase was a Pentium 4 which I bought to play games; for this computer, I only upgrade certain parts such as memory, hard disks and video cards.
For work, I prefer to use my laptop. I like the portable aspect of it so I can take it to and from my office. My laptop is Toshiba.
As for my educational background, my degree is in electrical engineering (telecommunications). I have experience in programming, testing hardware and analyzing telecommunication problems.
Currently, I work as business manager of my parents’ printing business. It has been quite an adventure, as I don’t have a lot of management experience. I’ve had a lot of “hands on” learning experience, as well as attending many seminars in order to increase my skill level.
Technology is a wonderful tool for making people’s work easier and more effective. I am continually amazed how significantly computer technologies have grown over the last decade alone.
