A graphics card works along the same principles. The CPU, working in conjunction with software applications, sends information about the image to the graphics card. The graphics card decides how to use the pixels on the screen to create the image.

Unix operating system is really superb. If you have hands on experience on unix commands, then you can play with it.
Examples of <a href="http://www.folkstalk.com/2011/12/101-examples-of-using-find-command-in.html" rel="nofollow">Find Command</a> and <a>Awk Command</a>

It is uncouth to genuinely make, sell or even distribute viruses or antivirus that are not authentic. Counterfeit products are very many these days that even telling genuine windows software from fake ones is difficult. people should just doing it and may strive to make better products.

I'm one who 'generates' files. I am a designer and a web developer. It makes the need for storage and backup even more neccesary.

I have tried all the harddrives out there and they always come to end within two to three years TOPS, so be VERY prepared.

Hard copy backup may take longer (backing up to DVD) but it is always safer. If you have a lot of files, make sure to set your burn speed to half of what your actual speed can hold to assure you keep your files.

Also... depending on how priceless your files may be to you - consider Online Storage.
A place like GoDaddy offers a really good package for less than $100 a year - plus, if you are even the slightest bit of computer savvy, you will then be able to access any of these files form anywhere in the world.

If you are going to insist on an external/internal drive - make sure you have one additional hard drive backing up your back up... Trust me when i tell you - losing digital files that can not be replaced is absolutely heartbreaking... take measures and NOTHING for granted.

Best of luck to you all :)

I've owned several Toshiba laptops over the years. Since my first one I won't buy anything else. Heard too many issues with Dell and HP from friends. I'll stick with what's always been good to me.

Wow, incredible stuff. I have also always wondered how the radiation from our modern equipment affects our health. Thinking about it, we are totally surrounded by these in forms of satellite signals, wifi, cell towers, and various wireless technologies we have in place today. And most of all our dear cellphones which we keep so close to us almost all the time.

Just something to think about...
