Deep Freeze - Security Software
Today viruses are easily striking PC user, even though PC has already protected by antivirus software. This problem commonly occurred when user doesn’t update the antivirus database, especially for PC’s user who frequently connected to internet or transferring data using portable storage device, such as Flash Disk or External HDD.
Sometimes, user has a PC with no internet connection, so it’s pretty difficult updating the virus database, furthermore this kind of user should frequently deal with virus’ attack on his / her PC.

In this article, I would like to tell something about the security software which is reliable to prevent virus’ attack, a software that developed by faronics called “Deep Freeze”.
Deep Freeze is security software, which freeze PC system on a chosen drive that is determined by user when installing this software. When PC is freezed neither human nor software could change the setting, add or delete file, etc.
Change can’t be made permanent, in freezed state, user or software still can do every task like usual. But, when the PC is restarted, every change that has already been made will have no effect at all.
The state of freezed drive will be returned to a condition before it was freezed, with same setting, same file, and exactly in same condition.
That “freeze” feature seems to be very useful to prevent virus attack, remember that any program installation or files that are added to the freezed drive will be gone when user restart the PC. That problem can be solved by temporarily disabling Deep Freeze.
It’s not as flexible as antivirus, which still allows file operation while it’s run. Despite of the “freeze” problem, Deep Freeze offers good security protection, since virus will be removed automatically when the computer is restarted. Detailed information can be seen on www.faronics.com.
