Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Pro consist of a keyboard, a mouse, a black USB charger and a USB-A to Micro-USB for its rechargeable mouse.
The wireless set is easy to install. By plugging the USB cable into any USB port of the computer, a user could use the MX1100 while charging it simultaneously. The company claimed a 6 weeks use from a 7 hour charge.
Besides charging it, you can all simply replace its AA battery with any alkaline battery. The keyboard still runs on 2 AA alkaline batteries, which could provide battery life to the keyboard for 3 years. There are peripheral and indicator lights to signal the user when it is low on battery.
The MX1100 mouse accommodates only the right-handers. The mouse is stylishly designed and very comfortable to use with.
Button feedback is excellent and the 4-way freewheel scroll wheel is very useful. The mouse itself is pretty lag-free by using 2.4GHz wireless connection. It also implemented the DPI switch which is pretty handy for work and for play.
The keyboard has little change when compared to the original wired WAVE. The thick cushioned palm-rest and the ergonomic curve of the keyboard make it very suitable to use with.
Key feedback is good and there are a many large shortcut buttons available, including the zoom key on the left of the keyboard.
A full set of media controls could be found above the keyboard. Logitech’s SetPoint software could also help to set all those secondary functions for the F buttons.
Generally, most users think that this is a highly comfortable and usable keyboard with excellent build quality.
