Hardware Hacking-Legal, But is it Moral?
The release of the Xbox Kinect came in a flurry of excitement. Owners of the Xbox 360 were anxious to buy the new controller system, and some people who didn’t have one already went out and bought the games system as well as the controller.
This controller was seen to be so different as to be a revolution in games play, because it actually has no controller, instead using the movements of your body to control the game.
The fact that it only worked with the Xbox 360 was seen as a challenge by some people. A lot of people who didn’t have the Xbox 360, and didn’t want it, were still interested in the new Kinect controller. This led to a challenge being set.
