The fact is that no one currently has a nationwide 4G network, despite claiming that they do. Like all previous networking standards, the 4G network standard has been decided on an international level by a body called the International Telecommunication Union. This body has discussed, in conjunction with major carriers and technology developers the requirements and standards that a 4G device or network should meet.
Currently, even the fastest of the networks in operation does not meet the 4G standard, and that includes the network labeled as 4G by T-Mobile.
